“Freefall” He won the prize of Foggia Magna Capitana, in collaboration with the Casa Circondariale

Friday 15 October 2010, within the Narrative of the provincial library of Foggia, The Magna Capitana, was held on the final evening of the fourth edition of "Inner Attraction Books", literary prize organised by the same library in collaboration with the Casa Circondariale di Foggia.

During the meeting, rich content ranging from musical entertainment of a String Quartet to theatrical interventions on the part of actors Compagnia dei Limoni, was awarded the prize to the winner of this edition, the author of Russian origin Nicolai Lilin with Freefall, published by Einaudi and published in April this year.

The five finalist books were presented by four journalists foggiani, all five works worthy of mention and that this also here: Are common things friends (Ponte alle Grazie) of Matthew Nucci, Story of my purity (Mondadori) of Francesco Pacifico, The consequences (Marsilio) of John Montanaro, Panzanella (Feltrinelli) of Giulia Villoresi and the aforementioned winner Free Fall of Nicolai Lilin.

A special mention was made for young migrants Rocco Cautillo, who with his tale is entered in the row of the Premio Campiello Giovani.

In the evening was awarded the prize in the literary contest winner detainee tied to this event, for the autobiographical written for the occasion. Double thrill to this guy in the same evening has seen a prize and could leave for a few hours the Casa Circondariale.

A valuable prize because, as commented Nicolai Lilin during his thanks: “It is important that initiatives of this type exist, to understand who is inside and the world wants them back”. And in that regard, the Director of the provincial library, Franco Mercury, announced that the next edition of the prize will be extended to all the houses you want local Italian stick.
